Ark Animal Centre

Ark Animal Centre is a non-profit, no-suffer centre. Ark rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes abandoned, abused and neglected puppies and pregnant moms. We care for them physically and emotionally in a caring, loving, environment. All our puppies are homed to approved, well suited homes and sterilisation is mandatory.

Hellen - Working in the Community

 Hellen attends to animals in Bellavista, Turffontein, Forest Hill and surrounding areas in the poorer suburbs south of Johannesburg. She feeds, sterilises, inoculates and deworms the animals in the community.

 The Lucky Lucy Foundation is a Non-Profit, Pro-life, Pro-Quality of Life organization that tries to relieve the plight of severely neglected and abused township and street animals, but also socially uplifts and educates destitute and impoverished children and people in and around Cape Town, and has been improving the lives of animals and families since its inception in 2010.

Ridgeback Rehab

Ridgeback Rehab rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed. They have behaviourists, and trainers that work with each dog and the homes they are adopted out to are very strictly checked to make sure that they are properly suited to the home.

Soweto Animals Rescue & Advisory Centre

SARAC was founded 2011 by Jerry and Vincent. They focus on the education of children in caring for animals, as well as involving the community as a whole. Jerry also rescues animals, feeds and inoculates cats and dogs in the community. He is always on the look out for any cruelty to animals, and speaks up for the voiceless.

Wolfshaven Animal Sanctuary

Wolfshaven was founded in 2000 and has a sound background of responsible rescue work. Their main focus at present is the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of The Bouvier des Flandres and the Airdale. The dogs receive veterinary supervision, behaviour assessment, training and loving inclusion in our family and home.
